Therapy helps you overcome chronic behavioral challenges and heal from past trauma. Coaching empowers you to recover self-confidence, gain perspective, and develop an outcome-based mindset to your career. When you work with me, you should finish tech career coaching more confident in yourself and not depend on me to keep growing.
I’ll set expectations so you know you’re in a safe space first. Then we’ll get into a real coaching conversation. I’ll offer some insight into your situation to give you a taste of what tech career coaching is like. Towards the end of the consultation, we’ll talk about which coaching package(s) are best for you. After the consultation, you’ll receive an email offering more info about the package(s). When you’re ready, you can purchase coaching and immediately book your sessions.
When I coach you, my aim is that you achieve the outcome you’re seeking. Single sessions give you an excuse to give up before you get there. If you just want to “dip your toes in the water”, it’s a waste of both of our time. You need to make a commitment to your tech career if you want to reach your goals.
Nearly every decision we make in our career also impacts our life. Making more money often requires sacrificing work/life balance. Having a bigger impact at a company may take energy out of us. Energy that’s harder to give back to our spouse or children. The method of tech career coaching I use considers your whole person. I use a combination of software development consulting, career coaching, and life coaching techniques.

It also teaches you a method for networking that can get you inside companies that don’t have jobs posted. However, I am not a recruiter. So I will not actively look for jobs for you.
